Valve working on new game — 2024 hasn’t been a great year for gamers so far but the recent Valve new game rumour may change that assuming it came out to be true.
The leak was first spotted on the r/GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit where it links to voice actress resume website Natasha Chandel where she inserted Project White Sands (Videogame) from Valve as part of the project. As of writing, she seems to have unfortunately revised her resume by deleting the game from her list, however, removing a digital footprint isn’t that easy as screenshots are already spreading around.
Now, when it comes to how the heck this is related to Half-Life 3, truth be told, aside from it being developed by Valve, there is not much besides the project name itself— “White Sands”.
For those who don’t know, “White Sands” is an actual place in New Mexico
Obviously, this doesn’t necessarily mean that it will be HL3. Still, at the very least it once again sparks the hope for Valve to finally create a proper sequel to Half-Life 2.
As one top Redditor says, “HL3 copium is back boys”.
