Microsoft’s Bing AI
The Bing AI is Microsoft’s attempt in integrating its search engine Bing with AI technology. Unlike Google’s Bard, Bing AI isn’t made from scratch but instead, it is adapting Open AI’s latest GPT-4 language model.
What’s interesting about Bing AI’s feature that other competitors don’t have at the moment is that it could also generate images based on the typed text. Do note that it is still early in development which means that the results might not look like exactly what you are looking for.
For this occasion, we decided to try out its capability by asking Bing AI to generate an image of a coffee shop logo featuring a cat. The AI did great by asking what type of logo we wanted to pursue as well as asking for details of what would be the name of the coffee shop before proceeding on generating the image.
The end result however, while it did feature cats and it also attempted to give the theme of a coffee shop, it ignores its very own question, the name of the shop for the logo. It’s still a fun experiment though, as even if the generated result isn’t exactly what we are looking for, we can see that it might be useful to capture some inspiration.
One more interesting feature that Bing AI has is its capability as a ChatGPT alternative for coding due to it sharing the same language model as ChatGPT itself. To try them out, you can access the Bing search engine website and go to its chat option.
Currently, Bing AI is only available on Microsoft Edge browser and it also requires you to be signed up to a Microsoft account. Users are also limited to only being able to send 30 replies per session.

This one chatbot AI name might be a bit unheard of and it is really understandable because it was just introduced only early this year by a team named ColossalAI which might not be commonly heard by the average users.
What differentiates them from the rest of chatbot AI is that this project is fully available to be seen on Github, which means that it is the first ChatGPT alternative open source in the market. The AI’s language model is based on Meta’s Large Language Model Meta AI (LLaMA) and is tuned to behave and react similarly to OpenAI’s GPT language model.
Unfortunately, as of this writing, the online public demo for this AI is already unavailable; however, according to those who were able to try them out, they are just as capable as other chatbot AIs. The notable key features of this AI are the capability of answering general knowledge quizzes, writing an algorithm, as well as conversing in the Chinese language.
